The Antenna Measurement Techniques Association was formed in 1979, and incorporated in the State of Georgia on March 10, 1989 as a non-profit professional organization open to individuals with an interest in antenna measurements.
A non-profit organization, IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) is the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. Through its global membership, IEEE is a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics among others. Members rely on IEEE as a source of technical and professional information, resources and services.
The IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) is a transnational society with more than 9,000 members and 80 chapters worldwide. Our society promotes the advancement of microwave theory and its applications, including RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz technologies. For more than 50 years the MTT-S has worked to advance the professional standing of its members and enhance the quality of life for all people through the development and application of microwave technology.
The Consortium is a Pro-Active International Community of wireless and RF product OEM's and their suppliers. Their Mission is to facilitate communication up and down the entire supply chain to Identify and Clarify Markets, Products/Service Opportunities, Reduce Costs, Improve Performance, and Decrease Time to Market for ALL things wireless.
The EMMA-Club (the Electromagnetic Materials Measurements and Applications Club) covers all aspects of dielectric and electromagnetic materials measurements at RF and microwave frequencies and is partnered with the National Physics Laboratory (NPL) in the UK.
