Adaptive Cruise Control CJR Program
Mold-In-Place (MIP) Technology 84-116 GHz Waveguide Termination
Mold-in-Place absorber was custom designed and cast directly around radar connectors to absorb leakage at 12.5 GHz around board level pins.
ECCOSORB® GDS/SS6M was used in the transmit/receive integrated microwave module section (TRIMM) to reduce unwanted RF signals at the board level in the dual s-band CJR radar system.
Factory applied and custom engineered Mold-in-Place materials can be cast directly into customer-supplied housings to reduce unwanted cavity resonances.
ECCOSORB® MF-117, a magnetically loaded epoxy, was selected for a high frequency (84-116 GHz) waveguide termination for use in the international Atacama Large Millimeter Array (ALMA).
