ECCOSORB FT material is a series of sintered ferrite absorber tiles. It is highly effective in the 10-1000 MHz band as a free-space wave absorber and/or a surface current suppressor.
For maximum effectiveness, the material should be in close contact with a metallic backing.
Application:
Suppression of resonances in shielded enclosures. Anechoic lining of compact EMC test rooms. In this case tiles are the back layer part of an hybrid absorber layout type ECCOSORB VHY 12 NRL.
