ECCOSTOCK CPE

Description Frequency Range Key Features Thickness Service Temp Indoor/Outdoor
Opaque, rigid, cross-linked polyethylene, does not flow 100 Hz to 10 GHz dk: 2.4, loss: .0007, low density, high tensile & flexural strengths, low water absorption, High Temp .125" (.3cm) to 3.0" (7.6cm) 400°F (204°C) In/Out
ECCOSTOCK® CPE is a cross-linked polyethylene that is available in rod or sheet stock.  The material is thermosetting with excellent dimensional stability; it will not flow even when subjected to excessive and prolonged heat.  However, the surface may darken with no effect on the bulk properties of the material.  Physical properties of ECCOSTOCK® CPE are similar to those of polyethylene at room temperature and can be used as a direct substitute for polytetrafluoroethylene with a consequent weight and cost savings.

ECCOSTOCK® CPE has excellent electrical properties and can be used for insulators, cavity tuning probes, patch antennas and dielectric support pieces of all kinds.
